David O’Mahony – In the House of Sorrows

It’s nearly Halloween, so that seems an appropriate time to kickstart my website back into life.

Did you miss my latest release? My third collection, In the House of Sorrows, is out now and filled with Irish folk horror, hauntings, creatures, grief, and longing. Get it here.

Workshop

Meanwhile, I’m delighted to announce I’m running a FREE two-hour writing workshop this Saturday, October 24, and noon Pacific time.

It’s being done over Zoom, so everyone is welcome. Thank you to the Irish consulate in Vancouver for the invitation.

Come join me running through the top things that work for me, followed by some writing exercises to help you build the core of a brand new story.

Details: Join the Consulate General of Ireland, Vancouver this Halloween as we host our free online creative writing workshop, “Bumps in the Night”, with Irish writer David O’Mahony. The event will be held on Saturday 24 October. Sign up quickly to ensure your place at the workshop.
